Opus Oneなどすぐには飲めないワインを買って帰ってきたので、ワインセラーに大事に取っておいたワインのうち、Wattle Creek The Triple Play Red Giants 2014 World Series Championsを開けて飲むことにしました。2014年駐在の初年度にSFジャイアンツがワールドシリーズチャンピオンになった時の記念ボトルです。記念ボトルといっても15ドルくらいで買った記憶があってそんなに高くないです。シラーベースでプチシラーとのブレンドで、いつも飲んでいるカベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンとは違ってかなり渋い味わいです。最近、あまりこんな感じのワインを飲んでいませんでしたがたまにはいいですね。
