ジョギングコースの途中になぜかドンキーを飼っているところがあります。そばによると近くに寄ってきます。思わず、そばによってパチリッ!

本日は、満月です。
あと、8時間もすると皆既月食です。月はとってもキレイです。起きている自信はないので、とりあえず、満月をパチリ！

娘の学校からメールで、「Lawson's Code Red Emergency Drill TOMORROW!」という件名のメールが来ました。
日本では防災訓練をやります。地震や火事の対応で、最後は、グランドに集まって避難完了。校長先生の訓示と消防署のおじさんの話を聞いておしまいという感じです。
こちらは銃の乱射事件などもありますので、それに対応した訓練だそうです。娘に聞いたら、明日の訓練に備えて、先生がバリケードを作っていたそうです。バリケードで、生徒と共に、教室をロックして敵の侵入を抑えるということのようです。
以下が学校からのメール
Lawson's annual Code Red Emergency Drill is taking place tomorrow (Wednesday, October 8th).
To accommodate the drill, we are following an alternate block schedule tomorrow and Thursday. (See the full schedule at the bottom of this message.)
During the classroom lock down portion of the drill from 11:35 to 12:15 tomorrow, it will not be possible to pull a student from a class. The Lawson office will be closed and no staff will be available to answer the phones. If you are planning to check your student out for a doctor's appointment during this time, please come before the Drill begins to pick up your student.
Also, you will see that brunch and lunch are being held at slightly different times. If you bring food for your student, please make sure you are here before that meal period begins.
